First Visit Expectations

A gentle introduction to dental care where we get to know your child, and you get to know us.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child first sees a dentist between the ages of six months to a year.

Your child’s first visit isn’t just about us getting to know them, but also you getting to know us! We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about our practice. We also encourage parents to accompany their child back for their first visit to show them that our office is a safe, welcoming place.

During your child’s first visit, our team will ask you some questions about your child’s medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact their treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications, vitamins, and supplements they are taking and their dosages.

New Patient Forms

To make your first visit as smooth as possible, we encourage you to fill out your new patient forms ahead of time.
